Man jumps 18 feet to flee fire

VIDALIA — A man jumped from about 18 feet out of his burning house to escape the flames Sunday night. Concordia Parish Fire Chief Nolen Cothren said he received a call at 8:30 p.m. Sunday that there was a fire at 722 Rokofee Road outside of Vidalia.
